Account Director

We are working with a growing creative agency that is looking to hire an Account Director into its London team.

This is a strong opportunity for a senior client services professional who can lead relationships, drive commercial growth and oversee delivery across a portfolio of key accounts. The role would suit either an established Account Director or a strong Senior Account Manager ready to step up.

You will be the senior day-to-day lead across a mix of always-on, campaign and content work, sitting at the centre of client leadership, commercial performance and team management. This is a hands‑on role with real responsibility, working closely with senior colleagues across strategy, creative, paid media and production.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead senior client relationships and act as the main point of contact for key stakeholders
• Oversee account strategy across always‑on, campaign and content programmes
• Drive account growth, forecasting and margin performance
• Brief and guide internal teams to deliver strong social‑first work
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and to a high standard
• Lead and mentor Account Managers and Account Executives
• Support pitches, proposals and wider new business activity
• Help improve internal processes and raise standards across the business

What they are looking for:

• Strong experience at Account Director level, or a Senior Account Manager ready to step up
• Background in a social, digital or integrated agency
• Strong understanding of social platforms, content and creator‑led work
• Commercial awareness with experience managing revenue and margins
• Confidence in handling senior clients and complex stakeholder relationships
• Calm, organised and solutions‑focused approach
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑moving, entrepreneurial agency environment
