Are you a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment? We're looking for a driven Team Leader to join our Operations team — someone who leads by example, takes ownership, and knows how to get the best out of their people.
Contract: FTC 6 Months with a view to Permanent
️ Hours: 5 days out of 7 | Weekend coverage required
About the Role
As Team Leader – Operations, you'll work closely with the General Manager to keep daily operations running smoothly. You'll lead your shift, ensure targets are met, and create a kind of team culture where people actually want to show up and perform. This is a role for someone who doesn't just manage tasks — they lead people.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading and motivating your team across a 7-day operation
- Ensuring HACCP, food safety, H&S and security compliance are met every shift
- Managing team performance, attendance and day-to-day conduct
- Resolving conflict quickly and implementing corrective actions
- Deputising for the Section Manager when required
- Communicating clearly and keeping your team informed and engaged
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years' supervisory experience in food production, manufacturing, catering or a high-volume environment
- Strong understanding of HACCP, food hygiene and H&S — qualification preferred
- Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop teams
- Confident managing conflict and working independently
- In-flight catering experience is a bonus (not essential)
- Degree educated preferred, or strong relevant experience
- Fluent in English — a second European language is a plus
- Competent in Microsoft Office
