They are seeking an Associate / Senior Associate to join their highly ranked Insurance Disputes team in Leeds.
The opportunity
- Work on high-quality and complex insurance disputes for a broad client base of leading insurers and professionals across the UK
- Focus primarily on professional indemnity matters, acting for lawyers, construction professionals, accountants, insurance brokers and other regulated professionals
- Advise on high-value and technically challenging claims, including negligence, coverage issues and regulatory matters
- Play a key role in managing matters from inception through to resolution, including strategy, client engagement and court proceedings where required
- Collaborate closely with experienced Partners and Senior Lawyers as part of a well-regarded national Insurance Disputes practice
- Benefit from excellent exposure to clients and early responsibility, with opportunities to build long-term relationships with key insurer clients

About you
- 3+ years PQE with a strong background in professional indemnity and/or commercial litigation
- Proven experience managing complex or high-value professional indemnity claims, and building strong client relationships
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team, with an interest in mentoring and supervising more junior lawyers
- A proactive and commercial approach to client service and business development
