About the Role
As the Nursing Home Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our Chelmsford facility, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. Your leadership will be pivotal in maintaining high-quality patient care and enhancing staff performance, ultimately impacting the lives of those in our care.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the nursing home staff to deliver exceptional care.
- Ensure compliance with CQC standards and regulations.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency.
- Oversee budget management and resource allocation.
- Foster a positive and collaborative environment for staff and residents.
- Address and resolve issues related to patient care and staff performance.
- Liaise with families to ensure clear communication and satisfaction.
- Monitor and evaluate service delivery for continuous improvement.
Key Requirements
- Proven leadership skills in a healthcare setting.
- Strong communication abilities with staff, residents, and families.
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and CQC standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Experience in staff management and development.
- Organizational skills to manage facility operations effectively.
Desirable Skills
- Experience in change management and process improvement.
- Ability to develop and implement innovative care strategies.
- Familiarity with budgeting and financial management in a healthcare environment.
Qualifications
- Must be nurse qualified with a valid PIN.
- Currently CQC registered as a Nursing Home Manager.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related field preferred.
