We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Band 7 Clinical Pharmacist to join our highly successful Primary Care Network in North East London. The ideal candidate will have experience working in primary care. Completion of (or active enrolment on) the CPPE Primary Care Pharmacy Education Pathway (PCPEP) is essential for this role.

As part of a supportive and well‑established Pharmacy team, the post holder will work flexibly across practices in the Network, contributing to the delivery of high‑quality, safe, and efficient patient care. You will support the achievement of the Networks DES and Supplementary Specifications, working closely with Senior Pharmacists, the Clinical Director, and the wider ARRS team to ensure consistent and effective medicines optimisation services across our practices.

E4 Primary Care Network (PCN) is a thriving collaboration of five GP practices in Chingford, within the London Borough of Waltham Forest. Together, we serve a registered population of more than 53,000 patients, working collectively to deliver high‑quality, efficient, and sustainable primary care. Our Network is committed to improving health outcomes, enhancing patient experience, and supporting staff wellbeing through innovative, patient‑centred services.

At the heart of our clinical workforce is a dedicated Pharmacist team, comprising three Senior Clinical Pharmacists and two Band 7 Clinical Pharmacists. This team plays a vital role in optimising medicines use, improving safety, and supporting long‑term condition management across our practices. Senior Clinical Pharmacists not only lead by example in clinical delivery but also provide mentorship and line management to Band 7 colleagues, ensuring professional growth and consistency of practice.

Our Pharmacists are fully integrated into the wider Network team and work closely with GPs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. To provide an equitable and balanced service, each Pharmacist is allocated to a maximum of two practices per rota rotation. This model fosters continuity, collaboration, and quality improvement across the Network while allowing Pharmacists to develop strong working relationships within practices.
