Job Title: Oncology Healthcare Centre Nurse. Location: Newcastle. Salary: £43,700 + fully expensed company car and fuel card. Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week.

The Role

As an Oncology Healthcare Centre Nurse, you'll play a vital role in supporting patients through their treatment journey—providing high‑quality clinical care via mobile units or local clinics in your area. You will be responsible for:

• Administering IV chemotherapy, oral chemotherapy, immunotherapy and targeted therapies
• Carrying out blood draws, toxicity assessments, and cannulation
• Managing central lines, pump disconnections, and injections (IM/SC)
• Delivering safe, compassionate care in line with clinical protocols
• Supporting the day‑to‑day running of clinics and working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders

This role offers a strong balance of independence and clinical support, allowing you to focus on delivering exceptional care without the pressures typically associated with hospital‑based roles.

About You

• Hold a valid NMC PIN
• Have experience in Oncology nursing
• Hold a recognised Oncology qualification, SACT passport, or equivalent in‑house training
• Be competent in venepuncture and cannulation
• Have experience administering Systemic Anti‑Cancer Therapy (SACT) across multiple routes
• Demonstrate a high level of care, empathy and professionalism
• Be confident working independently while managing your own caseload
