Senior Electronics Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Electronics Engineer to join a growing engineering team in the Stockport area. As a Senior Electronics Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and validation of electronic hardware for high-performance RF and communication systems. The role of Senior Electronics Engineer will involve schematic capture, PCB layout, prototyping, and hands‑on lab testing, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver reliable, production‑ready designs.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop analogue, digital, and mixed‑signal electronic circuits
• Undertake schematic capture, PCB design, and component selection
• Support bring‑up, debugging, and validation of prototype hardware
• Collaborate with RF, software, and mechanical teams to ensure robust system integration
• Contribute to design reviews, documentation, and compliance/testing activities

Requirements

• Degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Experience in circuit design, PCB layout, and lab‑based testing.
• Familiarity with RF or high‑speed digital design desirable.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
