Mechanical Design Engineer – Building Services

The Role

You will play a key role in the delivery of mechanical building services designs across a wide range of sectors, working closely with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

• Design of HVAC, ventilation, and mechanical building systems
• Production of detailed calculations, specifications, and technical drawings
• Supporting projects from concept through to construction stage
• Collaborating with architects, contractors, and clients to develop effective design solutions
• Contributing to sustainable and energy‑efficient design strategies

Requirements

• Degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services
• Experience within a building services consultancy environment
• Familiarity with industry software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, IES, or similar)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Passion for innovation, sustainability, and high‑quality design
• Progression toward Chartered status (desirable)
