Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the delivery of MEP design across major construction projects
- Act as the technical lead, ensuring quality, compliance, and best practice across all designs
- Support the Head of Service in managing team performance, utilisation, and delivery targets
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams across mechanical, electrical, and wider project functions
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, both internally and externally
- Oversee feasibility studies, detailed design, and technical reporting
- Drive continuous improvement and technical excellence within the team
- Support business development activities, including bid submissions and client presentations
- Monitor project progress, risks, and costs, ensuring successful delivery
What They're Looking For
- Chartered Engineer (CIBSE or IET)
- Degree in Mechanical Building Services or Mechanical Engineering
- Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams
- Strong background delivering large-scale MEP projects
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to a range of stakeholders
- Experience managing team performance, utilisation, and project delivery targets
- Strong understanding of quality assurance and design processes
- Ability to meet BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) requirements
