Measurement and Technical Compliance Engineer Leading Consultancy - Glasgow Competitive salary and package available Salary from £30,000 - £45,000 per annum depending on qualifications and experience Career progression We are recruiting for a Measurement and Technical Compliance Engineer on behalf of our client, a highly regarded Consultancy, based in Glasgow.
This role will suit a candidate with the following :
- Graduate or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Significant experience in both on-site and office assessment and verification of measured quantities and compliance with contracts, processes and standards
- Demonstrable significant knowledge of maintenance and construction works associated with the construction, management and maintenance of a roads network
Main responsibilities
- Measurement Reports
- OI Review Reports
- Monitoring Reports
- Contribute to Monthly Reports
- Contribute to Annual Report
- General Site Visits (inc CDM/H&S checks)
- Environmental Checklists
- Ad Hoc IRIS data requests
- Assist in Winter and Incident Response Reviews
- Attend Measurement meetings
Key Tasks of the role
- Review, audit and monitor on-site works and associated records and report on compliance with contract documentation and good working practices
- Review, audit and monitor on-site works and associated records and report on the veracity of Suppliers request for payments
- Review, audit and monitor on-site works and associated records and provide information for the Employer’s responses to disputed contractual issues.
- To be fully conversant with and understand the relevant Supplier contracts.
