We're a small but ambitious law firm with a growing reputation in employment law, and we're looking for an experienced solicitor to join our team in Stamford. We advise both employers and employees on a broad range of employment law matters, combining technical expertise with practical, commercially minded advice delivered in plain English. As our caseload continues to grow, we're looking for someone with the confidence, experience, and initiative to manage a varied workload and help shape the future of the firm.
You will:
Advise clients on a wide range of employment law matters, from contracts and policies through to disputes and tribunal claims
Manage a varied caseload of both contentious and non-contentious matters
Provide pragmatic, commercially aware legal advice tailored to client needs
Build and maintain strong client relationships
Work independently while also contributing to a close-knit, collaborative team
Maintain the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality
Keep up to date with legal developments in employment law
Play an active role in the continued growth and development of the firm
We're looking for someone who is:
A qualified solicitor
5+ years PQE with solid employment law experience
Confident managing a varied caseload independently
Skilled at building trusted, long-term client relationships
An excellent communicator, both written and verbal
Strong analytically, with sound judgement and attention to detail
Well organised, able to prioritise effectively and meet deadlines
Professional, reliable, and personable, with a good sense of humour
