Family Lawyer – Barnstaple
We are seeking an experienced Family Lawyer (4+ years PQE) to join our growing Private Family team in North Devon.

You will manage a varied caseload with a strong emphasis on matrimonial finance, alongside broader private family matters including divorce, separation, cohabitation issues, private children law and pre and post nuptial work.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a mixed caseload of high quality private family matters
- Take responsibility for complex matrimonial finance cases, including high value and multi asset matters
- Advising clients with sensitivity, clarity, and commercial awareness
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Contributing to the growth and profile of the department
- Supervising junior fee earners
About You
- 4+ years’ PQE in Family Law (solicitor or legal executive)
- Strong technical expertise in both financial remedy and children law preferred
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- A proactive, organised and collaborative approach
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a supportive team culture
- A commitment to delivering exceptional service
- A desire to play an active part in the marketing and progression of the department.
