A leading commercial law firm in the North West is seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor to join its highly regarded employment team. The team provides decisive, commercially focused employment law advice across a broad range of client needs, including complex HR issues, regulatory challenges and employment disputes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clear, commercially driven advice on disciplinaries, grievances, dismissals and redundancy processes.
- Manage a varied caseload of contentious employment matters, including tribunal representation.
- Draft and review employment documentation such as contracts, policies, procedures and settlement agreements.
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on employment law developments.
- Negotiate effectively to achieve commercially favourable outcomes.
- Build strong client relationships through practical, objective-led advice.
- Work collaboratively within the team to deliver a seamless client experience.
About You
- 5+ years’ PQE (or equivalent) in employment law.
- Strong experience across both contentious and non‑contentious matters.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to deliver clear, strategic advice.
- Commercially minded with confidence in decision‑making.
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
