Salary: Lucrative Salary + Attractive Benefits + Flexible Working
A leading UK law firm is seeking an experienced Employment Lawyer to join its market-leading Employment practice in Glasgow as a PSL.
This opportunity sits within a highly regarded team that advises some of the UK’s largest and most recognisable employers on a full spectrum of employment matters. The practice has built a reputation for delivering commercially focused advice to a diverse client base spanning sectors such as manufacturing, retail, professional services, utilities, hospitality and education.
The role will be closely aligned with the team’s flagship employment advisory service, which provides ongoing HR and employment law support to employers. As part of this innovative offering, the PSL plays a central role in ensuring that both the team and its clients remain at the forefront of employment law developments.
Your work will focus on developing and maintaining the knowledge infrastructure that underpins the team’s advice. This includes updating client‑facing employment law resources, maintaining document libraries and developing best‑practice materials that support lawyers across the practice.
You will also play a key role in monitoring legal developments, translating complex legislative and case law updates into practical guidance for colleagues and clients. This may involve producing guidance notes, precedents, checklists and training materials, ensuring the team continues to deliver clear, commercially focused advice.
Beyond knowledge management, the role also offers involvement in innovation and service delivery, working alongside product and business change teams to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, harness emerging technologies and refine the tools available to both lawyers and clients.
While the position is primarily non‑fee earning, there will also be opportunities to deliver training, support client‑facing initiatives and contribute to new service offerings, giving the role a strategic and outward‑facing dimension.
For an experienced Employment lawyer looking to move into a knowledge‑focused position while remaining closely connected to complex and high‑quality employment work, this role offers the chance to shape how legal expertise is shared, developed and delivered across a nationally recognised team.
