We are looking for an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter to join our client, one of the UK's leading manufacturers.
Job Responsibilities
- Fast and accurate diagnoses using diagnostic tools and choosing the right repair techniques.
- Work independently to maintain and repair vehicles and components.
- Carry out a range of inspections (MOT, tacho, etc.).
- Provide support and daily mentoring for less experienced technicians.
- Carry out final checks on work that has been completed.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Time-served HGV Technician or equivalent qualification (City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 preferred).
- Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding skills.
- Extensive experience in carrying out repairs and maintenance on trucks, components and associated vehicles.
- Familiarity with developments in the automotive industry.
- Valid driving licence.
