You will be working within the supply chain function where you will take on a range of responsibilities and develop your skills and experience. The business is fast‑paced, fast‑progressing and has a healthy pipeline with many long‑term contracts.
Responsibilities
- General procurement of machined, fabricated components and consumables.
- Sourcing new suppliers and conducting supplier appraisals.
- Monitoring suppliers and generating reports and spreadsheets.
Qualifications
- Minimum three years experience in a procurement/buyer role within engineering.
- Experience with MRP, ERP or SAP systems.
- Proficiency in Excel.
Other Details
- Work with world‑famous brands, primarily in the motorsport industry, as well as aerospace, MOD and marine sectors where quality is paramount.
- Based at a specially kitted‑out manufacturing facility on the outskirts of Milton Keynes centre.
- Daily key points of contact include external suppliers, internal engineers and senior leadership, requiring confident cross‑level communication.
