As a Team Leader, you will be the first point of contact for team members in the achievement of daily tasks, set by the management team. You will be focused on guiding and developing the team. Your mission will be to ensure accuracy, on-time and in full replenishment of the warehouse.
Please note, this role will be site based, Saturday and Sunday 08:30-17:00
For this opportunity we are offering up to £16.92 per hour, with the potential for additional overtime paid at 1.5x per hour.
Key responsibilities
- Responsible for the daily supervision of the shift team focusing on delivering the best customer experience.
- Guarantees 100% accuracy between stock in the warehouse and the stock control system at all times.
- Promotes accuracy within all tasks performed by the team and ensures the procedures are adhered to.
- Supervises the shift team to ensure the efficient and accurate flow of Goods in, picking for the manufacturing unit, and goods out.
- Liaises with operational departments ensuring continual smooth processes.
- Identifies and reports any incidents, damages or discrepancies.
- Ensures GMP is adhered to within warehouse operations.
- Ensures the company Health and Safety Policy is maintained at all times.
Requirements
- Be an effective communicator, proven experience required in providing key messages and updates to the immediate team and liaising with many departments including other teams within manufacturing, distribution, and our quality assurance teams.
- Similar experience in leading or supervising within a fast‑paced environment.
- A thinker on your feet – responding to changes in logistics priorities and resolving problems.
- Knowledgeable in knowing when to highlight issues/concerns/challenges and to the right stakeholder to resolve matters.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Experience of being the first point of contact for all people's queries and working closely with the Logistics Management team to provide options and solutions.
- VNA/Flexi forklift licence preferred.
- Strong numerical skills and experience working with company stock control systems.
- Be someone organised, articulate and methodical with the ability to work under pressure paying strict attention to detail at all times.
