Duties of the Parts Business Development Manager
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to increase parts sales revenue in designated territories.
- Identify and secure new customer accounts while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
- Achieve and exceed monthly and yearly sales targets and KPIs as a Parts Business Development Manager.
- Promote and demonstrate the features and benefits of genuine parts to mechanic and bodyshop clients.
- Manage customer accounts to ensure high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
- Collaborate with centre managers and colleagues to support marketing initiatives and sales campaigns.
- Analyse market data to identify opportunities and optimise sales approaches.
- Keep updated with product knowledge and market trends to effectively meet customer needs and address objections.
Requirements
- Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within the automotive parts sector.
- Strong understanding of trade parts and supplier operations.
- Demonstrable success in developing new business and managing customer relationships.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good IT literacy and data analysis skills.
- Minimum GCSEs in Maths and English or equivalent qualifications.
- Valid driving licence, as travel between customer sites is required.
