The Role:
- Build and manage daily transport plans aligned to customer delivery requirements.
Translate order volumes and operational priorities into practical and cost-effective route plans.
- Coordinate closely with drivers, warehouse teams and customer service to keep transport operations running smoothly.
- Anticipate and manage planning risks including delays, vehicle availability, and last-minute order changes.
- Monitor transport performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve utilisation, service levels and cost efficiency.
The Person:
- Previous experience in a transport planning, logistics coordination, or fleet scheduling position.
- Comfortable working in environments with tight deadlines and changing priorities.
Strong systems knowledge (transport management or route planning systems) with good Excel capability.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to balance competing operational demands.
- Confident communicator who can work effectively with drivers, operational teams, and customers.
