Leveraged Finance Associate (US Law Firm)

Leveraged Finance Associate (3-6 PQE), US Law Firm, London

We are working with a leading US law firm on a position within their highly regarded Leveraged Finance team in the London office. You will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of high-profile and high-value transactions, within a practice that is recognised as a market leader both domestically and internationally.

This senior position offers genuine progression opportunity within a team that works at the very top of the market. The firm is looking for a technically strong lawyer who is capable of handling a good level of autonomy while working in collaboration with the Partners.

The team is primarily sponsor-facing, advising leading private equity houses and financial sponsors on complex acquisition and leveraged finance transactions. Work may include syndicated loan facilities and direct lending transactions, including term loan and unitranche structures, across a range of complex cross‑border European mandates. The team is also active in the high yield market and I'll be interested in discussing the firm with candidates who have gained experience on this side too.

Ideal Candidates

• Ideally 3‑6 years of post-qualified experience in Leveraged Finance for the team structure here
• Qualified in England & Wales, or internationally qualified including Australian or New Zealand qualified lawyers, ideally with London-based leveraged finance experience
• Training or experience at a leading City of London, international or US law firm
