Administrator – Telford
Temp-to-Perm, £13.57 per hour, Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
Our well-established client in Telford is recruiting an administrator to support their payroll department on a temp-to-perm basis. The role is based in a busy office within a small friendly payroll team.
Responsibilities
- Check and calculate hours worked by employees
- Input accurate hours and/or price work into appropriate software
- File important documents into correct folder
- General administrative duties
- Calculate overtime, shift payments, and pay increases
- Issue P60s at the end of the tax year
- Handle payroll queries
- Liaise with team leaders
- Create new starters
- Raise P45’s
- Administer holiday pay
- Produce absenteeism reports
Qualifications
- No previous payroll experience required
- Previous office-based administration experience required
- Numerate with high accuracy and attention to detail
- Organised, methodical, and detail-oriented
