The Role

An in house Legal Adviser position has arisen which will mainly involve providing legal advice on and drafting various commercial contracts and other supporting documents.

Caseload

• Commercial contracts
• Research contracts
• Procurement contracts
• International collaboration contracts
• IP matters
• Bids
• Fundraising regulations
• Charity law
• Disputes and litigation

Responsibilities

Provide legal advice on a wide variety of matters and draft related documentation. Communicate clearly with internal stakeholders and deliver high‑quality work to tight deadlines.

About You

Ideal candidate will have 2–5 years post‑qualified experience, good academics, and strong ability to interpret, draft and negotiate commercial contract documentation. Excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Experience in private practice or in house legal work is considered.

Start date

Mid/Late May 2026 start ideal.
