I’m working with a specialist, growing law firm looking to appoint a Senior Compliance Solicitor into the team in a key hire for the business. With a focus on building a strong proactive compliance function.
This is a high-impact position reporting directly to theCOLP, with real influence across governance, risk strategy, and regulatory compliance. A firm with a great compliance culture from top down.
The Role?
- Firm-wide risk management frameworks & compliance oversight
- SRA, GDPR & AML compliance
- Internal audits, breach reporting & board-level updates
- Policy development and implementation across multiple offices
- Acting as the go-to escalation point for complex compliance matters
Exposure to contentious probate or high-risk casework is highly desirable.
About you?
- Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (England & Wales)
- Strong background in legal compliance / risk / regulatory roles
- Understanding of SRA Standards & governance frameworks
- Confident working with senior stakeholders and influencing decision-making
- Experience drafting policies, audits, and delivering training
