About the Role
We're recruiting motivated individuals to join our established programme, designed to develop the next generation of rail professionals. This is a unique opportunity within the rail sector, combining hands‑on experience with structured training and dedicated mentorship. Upon successful completion, you could progress into roles such as Signalling & Telecoms Technician or Team Leader in Rail Engineering.
What You'll Be Doing
- Work alongside experienced S&T engineers
- Gain hands‑on experience in rail infrastructure
- Carry out installation and maintenance activities on‑site
- Apply your learning in real‑world environments
Your formal training will be delivered by an approved provider and fully funded by us.
- You'll receive a minimum of 7 hours pay per day while attending training courses
- Supported by a dedicated Training Officer and ongoing mentorship
- Guided by your line manager to help shape your long‑term career

- Flexibility to work shifts (days, nights, weekends) and outdoors in all weather conditions

- Excellent communication skills and a good sense of humour
- A valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
- PTS holder (advantageous)
- Rail experience (advantageous)
