The Role
As Business Development Manager you take ownership to maximise opportunities and increase footfall through utilizing sales initiatives to achieve targets and budget sales for the area.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the area pre-booked sales retention and growth
- Review your business’s current and future pre-booked sales to drive conversion and confirmed bookings
- Develop new business opportunities
- Promote multiple aspects of the venues in your area
- Generate leads from cold calling, networking and sales leads
- Create sales packages to maximise revenue
- Build & maintain strong relationships with General Managers to improve productivity, effectiveness, and customer experience
- Coordinate and create promotional activity across venues in your area
- Work with a team of sales and events coordinators based at your call centre to deliver excellent levels of customer service and well-planned and executed events and functions
Qualifications
- Must be an enthusiastic, dedicated and hardworking individual
- Have proactive selling experience within the hospitality sector
- Have entrepreneurial flair and a talent for seeing a sales opportunity where others cannot
- Have experience in running and managing a broad portfolio of events
- Have a methodical and meticulous approach to workBe a great communicator with a passion for what they do
