This is a pivotal leadership role within a high-growth, technology-driven organisation (c.£20m t/o) entering its next phase of scale. Following a round of significant investment, you will be responsible for building robust financial foundations, implementing scalable systems, and developing a best-in-class finance function that supports international expansion and operational complexity.
Own the delivery of accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in line with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS/GAAP). Establish and maintain a strong internal control framework to ensure financial integrity and safeguard company assets.
Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of core finance systems, including ERP platforms and supporting tools. Drive optimisation of the finance tech stack to enable automation, scalability, and improved reporting capabilities.
Oversee global tax compliance, including indirect and corporate taxes across multiple jurisdictions. Ensure all statutory filings and regulatory obligations are met efficiently and accurately.
Act as the primary liaison for external auditors. Lead the planning and execution of the year-end audit process, ensuring readiness, transparency, and timely completion.
Manage day-to-day finance operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and employee expenses. Ensure processes are efficient, well-controlled, and scalable.
Monitor cash flow and liquidity, manage banking relationships, and implement processes for forecasting and cash optimisation.
Build, lead, and develop a high-performing finance team. Identify capability gaps and hire strategically to support growth.
