Private Family Solicitor/CILEX

Our client is seeking a Family Solicitor to step into a key role due to the planned retirement of a long-standing team member. Reporting directly to the Director and Head of Conveyancing, you'll play an integral part in delivering high-quality legal services across a broad range of private family matters.

You will manage your own varied caseload of private family law matters, including:

• Divorce and separation
• Financial remedy proceedings
• Private children matters
• Cohabitation disputes
• Pre- and post-nuptial agreements

There will also be opportunities to be involved in advocacy, and candidates with Higher Rights of Audience or strong advocacy experience will be highly regarded.

The firm offers:

• No billable hour targets - focus on delivering excellent client care
• Hybrid working: typically 2 days in the office and 3 from home (flexible and open to discussion, including earlier access post-joining)
• Part-time or reduced hours considered
• Standard hours of 9:00am - 5:30pm

The ideal candidate will be:

• Qualified Solicitor or CILEX with 2+ years' PQE in private family law
• Comfortable managing your own caseload independently
• Strong client care and communication skills
• Advocacy experience or Higher Rights of Audience (desirable but not essential)
