Experienced CNC Machinist (Milling)

Responsibilities

• Setting 3 and 5 axis CNC Milling Machines.
• Validating programs through part prove out.
• Investigate and apply techniques to reduce cycle times and explore new technology to improve workshop throughput.
• Liaise directly with the engineering team if necessary to problem solve.

Requirements

Essential

• +5 years' machining experience
• Experience in a similar CNC Machining role.
• Able to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Experience of fault finding.

Desirable

• Working knowledge of Fanuc (HAAS) controls
• 3rd level qualification in an engineering related subject.
• Experience in hand finishing component parts
