The East Stroudsburg University department of Nursing offers a four-year program of study that leads to the Bachelor of Science degree with a major in nursing. This program is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) and fully approved by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing. Upon completion of the program, a graduate is eligible to take the NCLEX-RN Examination for licensure as a registered Nurse and is prepared to function as a generalist in professional nursing practice.
The successful candidate will be expected to have a primary classroom and clinical teaching/simulation focus in Medical Surgical Nursing. Other responsibilities include advancing the mission of the department by contributing to the development of new and innovative programs in Nursing and services to the department, university, and community. Distance learning and/or off-campus teaching opportunities may be expected. All candidates must comply with clinical agency affiliation agreements health requirements.
Must be at least 18 years old and have English literacy skills.
