Overview
The Occupational Health Clinic Nurse will be part of the North West London Occupational Health Shared Service (NWLOHSS) team, promoting and maintaining staff health and wellbeing. Two full‑time positions are available, primarily based at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital (Inner HCAS) or Hillingdon Hospital (Fringe), with potential to support other sites within the shared service.

Key Responsibilities
- Assessment of employee fitness to work
- Protection of employee health at work
- Promotion of employee health at work
- Support of individuals with disabilities in gaining and sustaining employment
- Provide vaccination
- Venepuncture
- Assessment and management of blood and body fluid exposure incidents
- Answering phone/email as duty nurse, providing sign‑posting and health and wellbeing advice
- Maintaining comprehensive OH record‑keeping system/database, including inputting and retrieving clinical data (e.g., immunisation details, test results)
- Participate in the quality, monitoring, and evaluation of the occupational health service
- Provide ongoing immunisation programme for personnel at risk of pathogen exposure
- Assess employees following needlestick/contamination incidents with sensitivity and support during emotionally distressing circumstances
- Give ongoing support and information to clients throughout their follow‑up period
- Participate in screening programmes for partners and customers
