Overview
We are seeking a motivated team player to provide quality care for patients across the entire endoscopic pathway, including pre, peri, and post procedural care.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high standard, patient‑centred care in upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopy, bronchoscopy, and thoracoscopy.
- Work collaboratively with Clinical Endoscopists, Gastroenterology Consultants, Surgical Consultants, senior doctors, nurses and HCSW team.
- Adhere to flexible shift patterns (07:30‑18:30, Saturday, 24‑hour on‑call when competent).
- Participate in cross‑site working across Poole, Wimborne Hospital and Bournemouth sites.
Qualifications
- Acute care experience preferred; previous endoscopy experience not essential as training and competency assessment will be provided.
- Strong communication skills, flexible attitude, and commitment to personal development.
Working Hours & Deployment
- Standard shifts 07:30‑18:30, Saturdays, with 24‑hour on‑call service.
- Cross‑site working across Poole and Wimborne Hospital, and Bournemouth site.
- Base location: UHD – Poole Hospital.
