Staff Nurse - Ophthalmology | Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

We are looking for a nurse experienced in high‑volume healthcare environments; experience in an ophthalmic setting is advantageous but not essential.

The role offers extensive training and competency‑based assessments to develop the position within the existing corneal nursing team.

The successful applicant will be well supported by the nursing team and encouraged to develop the role to its full potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and support patients attending the eye clinic.
• Perform vision checks and intra‑ocular pressure (IOP) measurements.
• Learn and apply other ophthalmic skills to prepare patients for consultation.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide quality patient care.
