About the Role
We support children and young people unable to access mainstream education in Swindon. The role involves delivering outreach, home tuition, and alternative provision on a flexible, long‑term basis.
Responsibilities
As a Tutor / Teacher you will:
- Work 1:1 with pupils with SEND, SEMH, medical needs, or those experiencing school refusal.
- Plan and deliver personalised sessions tailored to each learner’s needs.
- Engage learners outside of a traditional classroom.
- Maintain a strong relationship‑led engagement and adaptability.
- Apply behaviour management and communication skills.
Qualifications
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
- Strong experience working with SEND, SEMH, or vulnerable learners.
- Proven experience planning and delivering personalised 1:1 lessons.
- Strong rapport‑building and engagement skills in a 1:1 setting.
- Child‑centred, dynamic, adaptable teaching approach.
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
