Waiting List Officer-Maternity | East and North Hertfordshire Teaching NHS Trust

We are recruiting for a Waiting List Officer – Maternity who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.

The post holder will provide efficient administrative support, including admission and pre-assessment appointments and maintenance of waiting lists, and take responsibility as part of a team for the service provided to our patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Identify patients on Lorenzo.
• Book patients for surgical procedures and appropriate pre-operative assessment appointments, ensuring accurate and current details.
• Liaise with patients, consultants, and ensure correct details and amendments are added to the Patient Administration System (PAS).
• Assist the Matron for CLU with the dating of patients.
• Ensure that patients are notified of their admission date with adequate notice and add all details to the EPR appointments section.
• Assist with any patient queries in a polite and courteous manner.
