School Business Manager – Wembley | £50,000–£65,000 | Growing Multi-Academy Trust
A growing Multi-Academy Trust based in Wembley is seeking to appoint an experienced School Business Manager to support the operational and financial leadership of the organisation. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional who understands the operational demands of education and is looking to play a key strategic role within a developing trust.
Position: School Business Manager
Location: Wembley, London
Salary: £50,000 – £65,000 (depending on experience)
Start Date: ASAP or September 2026
Sector Experience Required: Minimum 5 years’ experience in a school, college or university environment
Lead and manage the business and operational functions of the school/trust
Oversee financial management, budgeting and resource planning
Manage areas including HR, payroll, estates, compliance and administration
Support the Headteacher and senior leadership team with strategic planning
Ensure compliance with DfE regulations, safeguarding and financial governance
Oversee procurement, contracts and supplier management
Lead operational staff teams and ensure effective service delivery across the school
The role sits within a small but ambitious Multi-Academy Trust that is continuing to expand. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting school leaders by ensuring strong operational systems, financial stability and efficient day-to-day management.
This role would suit an experienced School Business Manager or senior operations professional who is confident working within the education sector and looking to contribute to the development of a growing trust.
