Head of Business Studies - Permanent Contract – Hounslow

A popular, high‑performing secondary school in Hounslow is looking for a Head of Business Studies to lead and teach their growing team from September 2026.

The Business department is vibrant and exciting, achieving fantastic results in both GCSE and A‑Level. Both Business Studies and Economics have proved popular each year.

We seek a good/outstanding teacher with excellent subject knowledge in Business Studies, supported by an honours degree in Business/Economics or a related subject.

Responsibilities

• Inspire and motivate the younger generation.
• Teach as much KS5 as you wish and take on BTEC and GCSE year groups.
• Manage a fantastic team of Business and Economics teachers.
• Support colleague and student development.

Qualifications

• UK QTS.
• Strong academics – degree, A Levels and GCSEs.
• Economics or related degree.
• Meet the 8 Teaching Standards at a ‘Good or Outstanding’ level.
• Willingness to listen to feedback.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with colleagues and students.
