Your role

As Wearables Category Promoter (Sales & Product Specialist), you will drive the sell‑out performance and commercial success of EssilorLuxottica’s Wearables portfolio, acting as the in‑store specialist and category advocate for smart eyewear and smart audio across key retailers and non‑optical channels.

Main responsibilities

  1. Sales, Sell‑Out & Business Development
    • Lead sell‑out activities to achieve and exceed sales targets across the full Wearables portfolio.
    • Contribute directly to sell‑out performance in assigned stores, actively influencing conversion through product demonstrations and sales support.
    • Identify and develop commercial opportunities including stock gaps, replenishment needs, upsell opportunities, bundle packs, and cross‑category synergies.
    • Present, position, and demonstrate the unique value proposition of EssilorLuxottica’s connected eyewear solutions to retailers, staff, and consumers.
    • Monitor stock levels and replenishment needs, proactively working with partners to avoid out‑of‑stocks and maximize sales continuity.
    • Develop and execute territory sales plans aligned with category and business objectives, ensuring strong sales replenishment, stock rotation, and availability.
    • Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Category teams to activate local campaigns, product launches, and peak‑season initiatives that drive conversion.
  2. Technical Product Expertise & Training
    • Act as a technical and product expert on wearable technologies, including connectivity, sensors, audio, software, and AI‑driven features.
    • Deliver regular in‑store staff training and knowledge‑development sessions to key partners, improving confidence, storytelling, and closing capability.
    • Translate complex technical features into clear, compelling consumer benefits that support sell‑out.
    • Provide technical support and first‑level troubleshooting in‑store to remove barriers to purchase and usage.
  3. In‑Store Activation, Merchandising & Consumer Engagement
    • Drive in‑store excellence through effective merchandising, planogram compliance, demo readiness, and premium brand presentation.
    • Lead and support high‑impact product demonstrations, consumer engagement moments, and digital activations.
    • Capture and share consumer and customer feedback with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to support continuous improvement.
  4. Market Intelligence & Category Ambassadorship
    • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, pricing, and consumer behavior within wearables and connected eyewear.
    • Provide actionable market insights to shape local sales strategies and marketing activations.
  5. Reporting & Administration
    • Maintain accurate sales, sell‑out, replenishment, and customer data within CRM and reporting tools.
    • Deliver regular reporting on sales forecasts, territory coverage, and market activity.
    • Track and analyze KPIs including sell‑in, sell‑out growth, sales replenishment, conversion rate, training coverage, and merchandising compliance.

Core Competencies

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
  2. 3+ years of experience in sales, preferably in technology, consumer electronics, optical, or healthcare industries.
  3. Proven track record of selling innovative or technical products.
  4. Experience in connected devices or wearable technology is a strong plus.
  5. Fluency in English required; additional EMEA languages are an advantage.
  6. Willingness to travel within assigned territory for customer visits, events, and trainings.
