Business Teacher

Overview

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school located in Mansfield, immediately outside the town centre. This is a vacancy for a Business Teacher on a part‑time basis (2 days per week) on a long‑term contract starting September 2026. A permanent role may become available for the right applicant from September 2026 or January 2027.

Responsibilities

The successful applicant will work across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5, including exam preparation for GCSEs and A‑Levels. The role is key to helping students achieve excellent results while following and implementing the schemes of learning.

Qualifications

• QTS or relevant teaching qualification with Business specialism (ECTs are also welcomed)
• Experience teaching Business up to Key Stage 5
• Excellent classroom management

Employment details

Salary: £168 to £261 per day. Pay is on a PAYE basis. The position is part‑time (2 days per week) on a long‑term contract starting September 2026.
