Secondary School Cover Manager/Administrator

Job Overview

Choice Teachers is currently looking for a Cover Manager/General Administrator to start a long‑term position in a reputable school in Blackburn. The successful candidate will ideally have strong understanding of SIMS, and preferably familiarity with Synergy. The role will include managing daily cover arrangements, including handling staff absence requests and coordinating appropriate cover, as well as updating and maintaining finance spreadsheets relating to supply staff invoices and associated administrative processes.

Working Conditions

The standard working hours are 8:30am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday. However, for candidates with direct cover management experience, there may be a requirement to work 7:30am – 3:00pm.

Requirements

• DBS Certificate on the update service (or able to apply for one)
• A-Level educated or equivalent (desired)
• Two professional references
• Right to work in the UK
