As a Children’s Residential Carer (known locally as a Residential Care Officer Level 1), no two days are the same. You will work with children and young people to prepare them for an independent life and support them within a multidisciplinary team.
Shift Pattern: Full time, permanent, with a rota split between different shifts; some shifts include sleeping at the home. Rota’s are given in advance to ensure work/life balance.
No prior professional care experience is required. The qualities we seek include:
A driving licence is desirable but negotiable for some of the homes.
