We are working with a leading supplier & distributor of products into the construction and homeware markets to recruit for their new Warehouse Manager to join the on a permanent basis at their impressive Newry facility.

Reporting to the Operations Director and leading a team of c40 you will lead the day-to-day warehousing operations, from receipt, storage and dispatch, this will include;

• Leading warehousing staff & supervisors across the site
• Daily operation of the Warehouse facility
• Managing processes to ensure the effective flow of goods into, through and out of the warehouse to the point of delivery
• Maintaining focus on right first time to ensure your branch remains efficient while providing the highest level of customer service to all your customers
• Driving improvements and efficiencies
• Other adhoc duties

What we are looking for

• +3 years experience in a Warehouse / Supervisory experience
• Confident people leadership skills and experience
• Sound level of IT literacy, ideally including warehouse management systems
• Experience of managing health and safety
