The Role

As a Fabricator, you will play a key part in the creation of high-quality steel structures used in the assembly of heavy crushing equipment. Your responsibilities will include:

• Tack steel assemblies to create structures ready for full welding
• Perform welding operations on pre-tacked steel assemblies
• Pre-assemble multiple steel components to confirm accuracy and correct fit for final assembly
• Operate a fork truck safely and efficiently to support production activities
• Adhere to all Health & Safety policies, procedures, and safe working practices
• Ensure all work is completed to the required quality standards

What You Will Need

Required Criteria

• Minimum 3 years experience in a fast-moving manufacturing environment
• Ability to read, understand and work from engineering drawings

Desired Criteria

• NVQ Level 2 qualification or above
• Coded Welding Qualification
• Experience operating a forklift
• Experience operating a gantry crane
