Job Description
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the organisation's objectives.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and maintain robust internal controls.
- Provide detailed financial analysis and reports to support decision-making at the C-Suite level.
- Manage cash flow, investments, and risk to safeguard the company's financial health.
- Lead and develop the finance team to ensure optimal performance and growth.
- Collaborate with other departments to align financial goals with operational strategies.
- Evaluate and drive cost-saving initiatives to enhance profitability.
The Successful Applicant
- Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Clear evidence of delivering strategic improvements in their existing business
- Senior Finance Leadership Experience - ideally have experience as an Finance Director in a scaling SME
- High levels of Commercial Acumen - experience in contract negotiation, bids, tenders and pricing
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage customers, colleagues and senior stakeholders
