North Finance Manager/ Finance Business Partner

Role Overview

In this role you will assist and support the Commercial Finance Director and North/Scotland Heads of Audit in managing the financial performance of the North and Scotland offices. You will work on strategic issues and day‑to‑day financial matters, providing relevant support, advice and guidance to the overall team within the business unit on financial matters. (Role is based in Manchester with monthly travel to Leeds and Edinburgh).

Responsibilities

• Assist with the management of financial performance for the North and Scotland offices.
• Provide support and guidance on financial matters to the business unit.
• Collaborate with senior managers, directors and partners to help businesses effectively.
• Identify and highlight opportunities for enhancing delivery and providing additional services.

Qualifications

• A commercial mind and strong analytical skills
• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
• Ability to handle confidential information sensitively
• Project management, team leadership and delegation skills
• Strong influencing and relationship‑building skills at all levels
• Operational and strategic agenda contribution ability
• Partnership experience desirable
