You’ll be the lead officer for major, high‑profile planning applications, including strategic sites coming forward as part of our new Local Plan. You’ll work at the heart of a holistic, co‑located team of expert consultees, all dedicated to delivering excellent planning outcomes.

We’re looking for someone with

• Proven experience in managing major planning applications and presenting cases to formal legal inquiries.
• Detailed knowledge of dealing with Planning applications and Section 106 Agreements and sound working knowledge of Development Management, including local, regional and national policies and priorities.
• Excellent and proven time management skills.
• A passion for place‑making and sustainable development.
• The ability to work collaboratively across disciplines and with stakeholders.
