Salary: Main Scale / Upper Scale (Fringe) + TLR

Our client, a successful and highly regarded 11-18 academy in Surrey, is seeking to appoint an ambitious and inspiring Head of Physics to lead a thriving Science faculty from September 2026.

Responsibilities

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Have strong experience teaching Physics at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
• Have experience teaching Key Stage 5
• Demonstrate a proven track record of excellent classroom practice
• Have the ability to lead, motivate, and inspire both students and staff
• Be committed to raising attainment and delivering outstanding outcomes
• Be an effective team player with strong organisational and communication skills
• Be reflective and committed to their own professional development
