Shift: 4 on 4 off DAYS Only

A leading FMCG manufacturing company has a requirement for an Engineering Team Leader to join their Engineering team.

This role involves provision of engineering support, maintaining adequate cover, and ensuring all plant / machinery is kept in working order. You will be leading a proactive, experienced engineering team in the provision of both planned and reactive maintenance engineering activities. This role will suit a motivated engineering supervisor or senior engineer who is keen to lead a team in the upkeep of high speed, automated machinery.

Role Description

• Leading the team in the provision of Planned and reactive maintenance engineering activities across a range of manufacturing machinery.
• Planning of engineering work to be carried out.
• Providing skilled 'hands on' mechanical / electrical fault-finding support.
• Ensuring all engineering records are accurately completed and recorded.
• Ensure engineers are trained in Health & Safety practices.
• Contributing to engineering improvement ideas.

Skills and Qualifications

• Engineering Team Leading experience.
• Qualified to Level 3+ in an engineering discipline (Mechanical or Electrical).
• Ability to lead and manage a team of maintenance engineers.
• Experience of working within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication skills.
