Job Title: B2B Team Leader
Location: Bexley
Salary: £39,000 + Bonus & Commission (£60,000 OTE)
Role Purpose
The B2B Team Leader is responsible for driving revenue growth across our clients Training business-to-business portfolio. This role combines hands-on new business development with leadership of a small team of Business Development Executives. The B2B Team Leader will set direction, coach performance, and ensure consistent execution against sales targets whilst building strong, long-term relationships with employer clients.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Growth
- Own and deliver B2B sales targets in line with company growth objectives.
- Identify, target, and win new employer clients across relevant sectors.
- Develop and execute account strategies to grow existing B2B relationships.
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through to close and handover.
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline using CRM systems.
Team Leadership & Management
- Lead, motivate, and coach a team of Business Development Executives.
- Set clear individual targets and KPIs aligned to overall business goals.
- Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and pipeline reviews.
- Support onboarding and ongoing training for new and existing team members.
- Foster a high-performance, collaborative sales culture.
Strategy & Planning
- Contribute to the wider B2B sales strategy.
- Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
- Work with senior stakeholders to shape sector-specific propositions.
- Forecast sales performance and report against targets.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Proven experience in B2B sales or business development, ideally within training, education, or a service-based environment.
- Demonstrable success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience leading, coaching, or mentoring a sales or business development team.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Confident using CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
- Understanding of employer engagement within regulated or compliance-led sectors.
- Experience contributing to sales strategy and commercial planning.
