Overview
This is an excellent opportunity for an Occupational Health Nurse to work autonomously at the Fife Ethylene Plant. The MOH team delivers high-quality clinical care, case management, and occupational health advice to employees and line managers across the business.
Candidate Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have proven experience in Occupational Health and must be a Registered Nurse (Adult) with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC), holding an unrestricted current registration. Applicants without Occupational Health experience may also be considered, provided they have hands-on experience conducting health screening assessments such as audiometry, spirometry, and blood testing (e.g., Registered Nurse, Staff Nurse, Practice Nurse).
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting pre-employment, fitness-for-work, and routine health surveillance assessments (audiometry, spirometry and blood tests).
- Supporting employees preparing for overseas travel or expatriate assignments, including administering vaccinations and immunisations.
- Performing breath alcohol testing and specimen collection in line with the company\'s alcohol and drug use policy.
- Providing health advice and signposting employees to appropriate medical care for acute and chronic conditions.
- Delivering targeted health promotion and wellbeing activities.
- Collaborating with the MOH Manager and wider team on significant occupational health matters within assigned areas.

- This role is Inside IR35.
- This is a part-time role, 1 day per week / 7.5 hours per week.
- The PAYE rates advertised apply to candidates with Occupational Health experience; rates may vary for applicants without direct OH experience.
