A global leading manufacturer of advanced capital equipment used in precision engineering has a new vacancy for a Field Service Engineer to join the team. Joining at a time of new product launch and global expansion, you will provide onsite technical and training to customers both in the UK and abroad.
The Role
- Troubleshoot, install and maintain advanced engineering equipment.
- Providing onsite and in-house training courses.
- Maintain and develop good relationships with customers.
- Identifying and participate in sales opportunities such as contract renewals and parts sales.
- Maintaining tools and test equipment and ensuring they are properly calibrated.
- Travel to sites, both in the UK and internationally.
The Person
- Valid driver's license and good driving record.
- Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electromechanical equipment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate technical issues.
- Able and willing to travel to customer sites globally.
